Like the waves in the ocean, the colours in this painting ebb and flow. Over time, you may find that different emotions emerge from this work of art. Perhaps a particular colour or brushstroke will take on a different meaning for you. Using color psychology (chromology), I created a painting that tells the story of healing and living one day at a time; color is used to convey emotions, direct the viewer's eyes. This painting was inspired by my daily meditations and my goal to “live one day at a time”. One Day at a time is a fluid painting that encourages people to live in the present and is part of the Healers series. This fluid artwork is dedicated to anyone who is on the journey of healing. I’ve used different types of iridescent paints, which means they change colour depending on the kind of light they are exposed to a metaphor that light comes from within.
Painting is a form of meditation. I use it to relax, find my zen and deal with the stresses of day-to-day life. Through painting, I aim to put soul on canvas.
One Day At A Time was painted with acrylics. It comes ready to hang and is painted on a natural wood substrate. Packaged safely for shipping the painting will be signed by the artist on the back.
